Saw blades are circular discs having cutting edges around the circumference. The design and material of the cutting edges have been adjusted to decrease wear and extend the life of the cutting components. Saw blades include slits or holes to increase stability and reduce thermal strains. These slits guarantee that thermal expansion in the outer area does not alter the smoothness of the saw blade and offers to damp impacts that may occur in the tangential direction during the slotting operation.

Under normal working circumstances, Talent City's blade life is approximately 40000 to 50000 anodes with a single set of cutters. With ideal working conditions, saw blade life of up to 120,000 anodes has been obtained.

Saw blades with mounting holes can be installed on a spindle in a machining unit or processing equipment. Saw blades come in sizes ranging from 900 mm to 1350 mm.
